Douglas Nohr
Doug John Nohr, 73, passed away October 19, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family under the care of hospice.
Doug was born September 29, 1946 to Fred and Lillian (Stanhope) Nohr in Valley City, ND and raised in Gary, MN. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life; went by the handle as shiny top. Doug was very particular about keeping his trucks clean and shiny. Some of hobbies included baking, cooking and carpentry.
Doug is survived by partner, Kathy; children, Tami Jo Anderson, Billie Jo Davis, Pamela Jo “PJ” Nohr; grandchildren, Justin Douglas, Caleb Jamison, Lilliana Jo, Kaitlyn Jo, Jerry Douglas; siblings, Gerald Nohr, Betty Larson, Laura Christensen, Maxine Cariveau, Bonnie Awender, Karen Horn, Diane Strommen, and Gail Nephew.
Doug is preceded is death by his parents; and sibling, Bob Nohr.
I’m sorry for your loss. Douglas will be missed. He was a very nice man.
I am a previous neighbor (737 2nd St) and did tax returns at H&R Block for Douglas.
