Duane Haagenson

Duane passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND, at the age of 91. Duane was born on September 17, 1928, the son of Edward and Elvina (Haugen) Haagenson in Clifford, ND. He grew up in the Clifford/Galesburg area and received his education. Duane proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his discharge, he made his home in Hillsboro for many years. Duane was united in marriage to Donna Wood and they had one daughter, Karen. Throughout the years, Duane worked with his father on the farm, and in also drove truck. Duane has made his home in West Fargo for the past 15 years. Duane is survived by his daughter, Karen Toumey of Arizona; two granddaughters – Samantha Toumey and Miranda Larson; his friend, Margarette Malafa of West Fargo; and several other dear relatives and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service: 1 PM Wednesday at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo – with visitation one hour prior to the service Burial: 10 AM Thursday at the Fargo National Cemetery, 8709 40th Ave N, Harwood, ND 58042.
