Edwin Earl Ford, 67, Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Sanford Health in Fargo. He was born on September 17, 1946 in Ada, Minnesota to Ervin and Dorothy (Heger) Ford. The family moved to West Fargo where Ed attended school. Following graduation, he attended college in Oregon where he received a degree in business.
In 1967, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Stigen in Fargo. The couple lived in Oregon until 1982, when they returned to North Dakota, and made their home in Hillsboro. Ed worked as a plumber in the Hillsboro area until retiring in 1999.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathleen; his children, Michael (Mindy) Holmes, Iowa; Jesse (Sherry), West Fargo, ND; Sarah (Jeff) Smith, Alexandria, MN; Heidi (Andres) Casarez, Fargo, ND; Michael (Francisca) Hernandez, Fargo, ND; and Elizabeth Ford, Hillsboro, ND; 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Eugene, Milwaukie, OR, and Ernie (Ruth) Ford, Elk River, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother and sister.
