Colorado Springs ColoradoDear Mary Lou, Tom, Dave, & Family-
I learned Ed passed away on Christmas morning, and immediately thought of you all. Please accept my most sincere condolences.
There is an unwritten, unspoken pact that the “boys” will always support the families, in person when able, in circumstances such as these. Please accept my apologies for my inability to do so due to health reasons. Do know, however, that I would rather be there with you, and my heart is there now.
I can recount about 45 years of activities with Ed, and have many stories about them, from working with him at IMT, playing on the same softball teams, winning a bet with him that I could quit smoking for a month, to , of course, hunting pretty much anything that could walk, run, or fly. I learned much of what I know about deer from him, and am thankful for that.
I am also thankful to have the honor to say I will always miss my friend, Ed.
We share with you the memory of Ed and all the beauty found in life. Numerous people have commented about Ed and all the things he did for the Bad Medicine Area Lake Association. We will miss him!

MaryLou and family,
Our deepest sympathy to the entire family at Ed’s death. We will always remember his cheerful nature and smiles when we would see him at the lake or at meetings of one type or another. The spectacular firework displays each year were a tribute to how much he cared for you all. Our prayers are with the family at this time of grieving.

I am so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing!!! I will always remember playing softball for him, he was an awesome coach and great man!!! He will be missed!!!
I am so sorry for your loss. I’m sure Ed will be deeply missed by family and lifelong friends. Just wanted to share some words of encouragement at this difficult time. John 2:28-29 speaks of a time when our loved ones that have passed will “hear Jesus voice and come out” to be with us again. We’ll be able to hold them again, and this time in the perfect life and paradise earth God always intended for humans. (Psalm 37:9-11) I hope this can bring a measure of comfort and peace to you during the difficult days ahead. May you lean on family, friends and God. Remember the good memories you had. And once again, my deepest condolences.
Mary Lou and family,
David and I are so sorry for your loss. We will hold you in our hearts and prayers.
