Ed Spence

Alwin Edward Spence, 58 of Fargo, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Ed was born on August 14, 1949 in Norfolk, Virginia to Linwood and Mable (Lewis) Spence. He graduated from high school in Norfolk and then served in the Air Force in Grand Forks, ND. He moved to Fargo following his discharge and was recently employed with Red River Commodities. Ed loved music, classic movies and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Linwood Spence, Jr. Ed is survived by his children, Angela Spence of Eagan, MN, Amanda Spence of Denver, CO, Destin Norris of Fargo, Jordan Laybourn of Fargo; grandchildren, Jada Walker, Mackenzie Minor, Isaiah Walker; siblings, Sarah L. Floyd of Baltimore, MD, Carver L. Spence of Chesapeake, VA, Conway Spence of Norfolk, VA and Angela L. Floyd of Chesapeake, VA. Visitation: Monday, June 2 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Prayer Service: Monday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
