Edna B. Hilsendeger

Edna B. Hilsendeger, age 71, died on Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at her home in Fargo. Edna Bernice Coleman was born on January 13, 1935, in Dent, MN, where she grew up and attended school. She married John Hilsendeger in Napoleon, ND on November 11, 1957. They lived on the farm before moving to Fargo. Edna had a strong faith and lived for her children and grandchildren. She looked forward to occasional travels with her sisters and all holidays and family gatherings. She loved cooking, canning, and her annual Christmas lights were a sight to see at her north Fargo home. Edna is survived by her two sons, Robert Hilsendeger and Scott Hilsendeger, both of Fargo; three daughters, Nancy (Steve) Arneson of Hawley, MN; Jane Hilsendeger of Fargo; and Jodi (Leen) Hilsendeger of Georgetown, MN; and five grandchildren, Jacob, Taylor, Zachary, Nicholas, and Paige. Also surviving are her three sisters, Lorraine Fandrich of West Fargo, ND; Bonnie (David) Grosz of Fargo; and Judy (Asghar) Fakhary of Minneapolis, MN; and her three brothers, Leroy (Pat) Bond of Norman, OK; Ron (Sally) Bond of Vancouver, WA; and Terry (Wendy) Steigel of Detroit Lakes, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, on January 24, 2001; and three brothers, Robert, Lenny, and Gary. Visitation: 3-5 PM Sunday at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo ? and also one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Monday. Prayer Service: 5 PM Sunday at Boulger Funeral Home. Funeral Mass: 2 PM Monday at Church of the Holy Spirit in Fargo. Burial: Holy Cross North Cemetery in Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo.
