  10. My Memory of Elayna goes many years back when she was in high school and was delivering pizzas. I was at her parents’ home for an event when Elayna called her mom (Sharon) and asked to talk to me. It seems that my children ordered a pizza and when Elayna arrived at my home, my youngest son handed her a book of blank checks and told her “just fill it out and sign my mom’s name. She won’t care!” We have laughed about that for decades! My heartfelt condolences to Elayna’s family. I feel blessed to have worked with her mom at NDSU and had the opportunity to know Elayna and her sister.

  11. Elayna and I were classmates at Lewis and Clark, Agassiz and South. She always was happy and friendly to everyone. Rest in peace.

  25. Brandon, Ethan, Sharon and Family:

How we loved and felt lucky to have Elayna and the boys as our neighbor on Broadway from 1998 to 2008. Our kids Sam and Sophie loved playing with Brandon and Ethan. There was an open door policy between both of our homes. Elayna was so good to our kids and we loved having the boys over. I was shocked and saddened by seeing she had passed so early in life. She had a great wit about her and I loved hanging out and talking to her throughout the years. She would even invite our kids out for pizza (Duane’s) sometimes. So very thoughtful. We think about those days with warm memories and how her kindness and grace was bestowed upon our children. We will always cherish her and you in our hearts! Love you all!
