Eleanor Arzdorf

Eleanor Arzdorf, age 85, of Riverview Place, Fargo, died on Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Villa Maria Nursing Home.

Eleanor was born on February 9, 1918, in rural Ivanhoe, Minnesota, the daughter of George and Josephine (Jankowski) Kusnierek. She grew up in this area on the family farm and attended school. Eleanor was united in marriage to Ambrose Arzdorf on May 6, 1941, at St. Peter and Paul Church in Ivanhoe. They moved to Fargo, North Dakota, in 1943, and made their home. Ambrose passed away on February 13, 1990, and Eleanor then moved to Riverview Place where she has resided since that time.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Colleen (Bill) Tiegs of Prior Lake, Minnesota; Jeanette (Jerry Crouch) Nice of Salt Lake City, Utah; Daryl (Judy) Mankato, Minnesota; her son in law, Jim Daumen of Langley, Washington; her grandchildren, Christopher (Suzanne) Brakob; Heather Tiegs; Thomas Tiegs; Julie (Clinton) Goudie-Nice; Laura Nice; Linda Nice; Amy Daumen; Lucy Daumen; and her great grandchildren, Genevieve and Justin Brakob.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ambrose; her daughter, Muriel Daumen; and 2 brothers and 1 sister.

FUNERAL: 1 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at Riverview Place Chapel in Fargo

VISITATION: 11AM until the time of the service in Riverview Place Chapel on Tuesday

BURIAL: Holy Cross Cemetery in Fargo.
