Eleanor Trottier

Eleanor Ann Trottier, 88, passed away March18, 2024 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Eleanor was born August 17, 1935, to John and Anna (Reichelt) Kallenbach of Esmond, ND.
She attended grade school at Rich Valley Township School and high school at B.C.A.T.S. of Maddock. She graduated in 1954.

She married Arlo Weisser in 1956. They divorced in 1976. They had 4 children together. Two sons, Randy Weisser, Fargo, ND and Rick Weisser, Detroit Lakes, MN; two daughters, Linda Weisser, Fargo, ND, and Shelly (Dave) Sinclair, West Fargo, ND.

Eleanor married Sylvio Trottier on July 2, 1982. They made their home in Fargo, ND. He died May 8, 2010. They were married 27 years. Eleanor enjoyed reading, playing bingo, watching the Minnesota twins, and her grandchildren.

Eleanor is survived by four children: Randy Weisser, Fargo, ND, Richard Weisser, Detroit Lakes, MN, Linda Weisser, Fargo, ND, Shelly (David) Sinclair, West Fargo, ND; five grandchildren: Sarah Weisser, Jonthan (Launa) Weisser, Jacob Weisser, Joshua (Krystle) Gervais, and Cody Sinclair; seven great-grandchildren: Josiah Weisser, Eli Weisser, Alexander Gervais, Blakelee Gervais, Avery Weisser, Allie Weisser, Riley Weisser; siblings: Tish(Jim) Gilbertson, Ken (Connie) Kallenbach, Myron (Flo) Kallenbach, Geroge (Linda) Kallenbach Paul (Judy) Kallenbach, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was preceded by in death by her husband, Sylvio; parents, John and Anna Kallenbach; her brother John Herman Kallenbach; and sister-in-law Gloria Kallenbach.

There will be a prayer service for Eleanor on Monday, March 25 at Boulger Funeral Home with a visitation from 6-7pm and prayer service starting at 7pm. On Tuesday, March 26 there will be a funeral with visitation from 1-2pm and funeral at 2pm at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in West Fargo.
