Eleanor passed away on Friday, February 8, 2008, at the Hillsboro Medical Center Nursing Home at the age of 89 surrounded by her family. Eleanor Wilson was born on September 18, 1918 in Bloomfield Township, near Hillsboro, the daughter of Sina and Andrew Wilson. She grew up in this area and attended school. Eleanor was united in marriage to Clint Willison on October 23, 1938. They made their home in Bohnsack Township where they farmed. They moved to Fargo in 1967 where she cared for children in their home for 8 years. They moved to Cotton Lake, near Detroit Lakes, MN where they lived for 4 years. They moved back to Hillsboro and Clint passed away in 1996. Eleanor was a life long member of the Methodist Church and a member of the Bloomfield Homemakers. Eleanor is survived by her four sons and daughter, Cordy (Peggy) Willison of Ada, MN; Shari (Harold) Twitero of Audubon, MN; Paul (Kathy) Willison of Hillsboro; Brad (Barb) Willison of Hillsboro; Lance (Denise) Willison of Eagle Butte, SD; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Harriett Letnes of Hillsboro; and Vivian (Joe) Quail of Orland, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
