Elizabeth Perez, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 64. Born on November 4, 1959, in Matador, Texas, Elizabeth brought joy and love to all who knew her. Her vibrant spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Raised in a close-knit family, Elizabeth cherished the time spent with her loved ones. She was a devoted mother to her children whom she loved and supported unconditionally. Elizabeth’s legacy lives on through them and the memories they shared together.
She worked diligently to provide for her family and embraced the role of a strong and loving mother and grandma. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world. She would always knew just what to say to uplift and support someone no matter the relationship. Known for her unparalleled cooking skills, Elizabeth delighted in creating delicious meals that brought smiles to the faces of her family and friends. Her kitchen was always filled with laughter, love, and the scent of her favorite dishes.
Elizabeth had a zest for life and enjoyed playing Candy Crush, which
provided hours of entertainment and relaxation. She found joy in simple pleasures and demonstrated an unwavering positive outlook on life. Her warm and caring nature touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.
Elizabeth’s memory will be forever cherished by her children, Yaya, Josie, Israel, Seferino; as well as her grandchildren: Sefen, Malaki, Jiame, Nani, Jonathan, Angel, Seferino III, Julianna, Markey, and Maya. She is also survived by her significant other, Mario, and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Elizabeth’s impact on her family will be felt for generations to come.
Embracing her heaven include her parents; siblings; daughter in law, Julie Ann Garcia; and nephew, Moises Santana.
