Born in: Fargo, North Dakota
Resided in: Fargo, North Dakota

Ellory Jaymes Heinen passed peacefully in the arms of her parents on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Born January 28, 2024, she arrived earlier than expected. She was a perfect cutie baby and the perfect addition to her family, including big sisters Aislinn and Amelia. Entering into Heaven in Jesus’s arms on September 7, 2024, she left us earlier than expected, too.

In her short time earthside, Ellory brought light and love everywhere she went. We believe that angels know they are angels. She loved everyone she met, she REALLY loved a mirror (what angel doesn’t want to look at herself and acknowledge her own power and grace!), and we believe that she also knew she would leave us too soon. That’s why she could never be bothered with table food and only ever wanted mama’s milk. She adored her big sisters, and had just started to say dada. There is an abundance of peace knowing all Ellory knew was to love and be loved. She was too perfect for our world.

We can find Ellory in the wisps of the wind. Think of her light and share a smile in her memory when one crosses your path.

Ellory is fiercely loved and fiercely missed by so many. Her mom and dad, Leah and Jatten, and big sisters Aislinn and Amelia. Papa and nana, Lynn and Melissa Sundby. Grandpa and Grandma, Rick and Jo Roob, and Grandpa Dan Heinen. Titi Kourtney Vondell, Uncle Jared, and Lainee. Auntie Jade Lommen, Uncle Matt, and Bella and Nora. Great-grandparents Dennis and Carol Heinen and Dennis Rehder. Her daycare family at Scribbles and Giggles.

The outpouring of love and support we have received is astonishing. We are eternally grateful for each kind word, shared memory, and abundance of blessings that has been bestowed upon us during our time of sorrow and despair.

Please join us to rejoice in Ellory’s life on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 5pm in the children’s chapel at Northview Church.
