  1. I have no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. Eric was great dad to all of his kids. He will be missed by many who knew and loved him. Hold on to the beautiful memories and find comfort in each other at this extremely difficult time.

  2. Eric was truly one of the good ones. We were each others’ first kiss in the 5th grade and grew up living just a few blocks from one another. In recent years, he grew into being my close friend and helped me through a very dark time in my life. He was a good man. A fiercely loyal friend. And he let me spoil his dogs rotten. I miss him already. I’m so sorry for your loss Nelson family. I’m so sorry…

  5. Hi my name is Kyle Ragland and my wife’s name is Raynell Wilson we are friends of Eric he was an amazing person with a very good heart and amazing mind. He was the first person to talk to us when we first moved to his neighborhood and with that grew a bond with him and both of his dogs to the point where he felt like a uncle to us. Its honestly hard to believe such a beautiful soul has departed from this world. I hope nothing but the best for his family and other friends im am truly deeply sorry for the lost that we are all suffering threw because of this

  6. I just saw you the other week grilling with your family while I was walking with my daughter. It’s still so shocking you passed a true loss of a good man and father. I’m glad I got to see you one last time and talk to you if even just for a moment I’m grateful you’ll be missed but never forgotten. Rest in heaven Eric.
