  10. MN
I had the honor and privilege to take care of Erin as her nurse while she was a patient at the cancer center for the past 3 months. We spent lots of time on the phone and also chatting at her appointments. We are the same age, so it was very easy to relate and even become friends. I already miss her laugh and our three-time weekly talks. I’m so very sorry to Glenn, Bev, Megan, Brad, Cole, + the entire extended family for the loss of your Erin. I hope you will be able to find peace in her memory and each other. Thank you for the opportunity to know Erin. I will not forget her.

  11. St Louis Park MN
To the Malnory family – I’m sorry to hear of Erin’s passing. While I didn’t know her well, I do know that she was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. I met Erin a few years ago when we were bridesmaids in my brother’s wedding. We realized we both worked for Ameriprise, and after running into each other in the cafeteria one day, we made plans to get together after work. We talked for a few hours and I’m so glad I got to know her a bit better she spoke very highly of her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  12. I am so very sorry for your loss. I graduated from Fargo South with Erin and we shared the bond of having sisters in the class below us. May God’s love and grace be with you as you grieve and celebrate Erin’s life.

  13. Edina MN
My most sincere condolences to you on your loss. I worked with Erin at Ameriprise Financial – not extensively, but enough to know what a sweet person she was. May you find joy and peace in your memories of Erin’s life.

  14. Plymouth MN
I will always remember Erin’s smile and her genuine interest in people. She will be deeply missed at Ameriprise.

Erin was, and still is, a bright and beautiful soul.

“To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.”

    Peace, prayers, and blessings.

  15. My heart is broken at this news. I just cannot find the words to express how very sad I am. Erin was my Administrative Assistant at Ameriprise for 3 years. She was intelligent, warm, funny and a bright light for all of us. She was a wonderful assistant and it was bittersweet to see her get promoted and move away from our group. You are all in my prayers as you try to navigate this unbearable joureny. I pray that God will be with you and give you comfort. Erin wrote on Facebook, “I can do all things through him who gives me strength”. I pray for that for all of you.

  16. Bev and family,
There aren’t any words I can possibly write that I think will ease your pain. I can’t begin to imagine how you and your family feel. I just pray that you are feeling everyone’s prayers as they are lifting you up in prayer. I have an “I don’t understand” box that I put things like this in when I just can’t understand why something has happened. This is one of these times. You and your family are loved by so many – the one positive thing you can count on is you will see her again some day. I can only think that God has some very special plans for Erin. May you get through this hard time leaning on Jesus and your family. Blessings to you all.

    To the Erin’s Family
I never met Erin, but through Megan talking about her sister. She was a great sister and a wonderful daughter! You’ll be in my prayers. Take care.

  20. Fargo ND
    Bev, Glenn, and Megan,
I know there’s nothing I can say to ease the pain but I can share a story about Erin.

I ran into Erin-quite by coincidence a few months ago at Scheels. She recognized me right away and stopped me in my tracks. There was no mistaking her for anybody but a Malnory. She hadn’t changed at all since the last time I saw her. I think it was the baby shower Bev threw for Coghlan. So it had been a very long time. So today, I consider her big “Hi!” a gift. She said, “Do you know who I am?” I laughed and asked about you, Bev. To be honest I wasn’t positive whether it was Erin or Megan, so I name dropped momma Bev.

That was good enough for her and we laughed!

  21. Minneapolis MN

  24. I met Erin on a warm summer night a little less than a year ago and I will never forget that meeting, from that day on Erin and I talked almost every day. Erin may not have fully realized it, but she helped me through a difficult time in my life, simply by being such a wonderful friend. She was easily one of the most outgoing, funniest friends I have ever had. Although our friendship was brief in the grand scheme of life, Erin made me a better person and I will forever be grateful. Erin, I miss you so much, your memory will live within me for the rest of my life.

  36. My thoughts and prayers go out to Erin’s family at this difficult and sad time. I worked with Erin and she was just a pleasure to be around – always smiling and wanting to learn and do more. In the past year, she had expressed interest in learning more about coordinating events and when given the opportunity, she did a fabulous job at the events she managed onsite. She was also able to laugh when work got to be crazy and she will be deeply missed. Hugs and prayers to those who knew her. Peace to you, Erin.

  38. New York New YorkI am so sorry for your loss. Erin was such a pleasure to work with. She was bright and funny and truly a sweet girl. I particularly loved her wit – it usually made my work day – especially when things got crazy and hectic. It’s hard to find the right words to help with the loss. I found this poem this past weekend which I hope helps a little.

You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she’s left.

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she’s gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back or you can do what she’d want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you.
May God enfold you in the mantle of His love.
And may the saddest day of your future be no worse
Than the happiest day of your past.

In the short time that I knew Erin, I was blessed to know such a good heart and kind soul. Always ready with a kind word coupled with a biting retort to my teasing, she never failed to ask about how I and my family were doing adjusting to the new job. Erin, you will be deeply missed.
