Ernest Elliott

Ernest Elliott Jr., age 85, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo. Ernest Elliott Jr. was born to Ernest and Ona Lee (Gordon) Elliott on April 28, 1918 in Norman, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts degree on June 5, 1939. Ernest was a Naval Officer during World War II serving in the South Pacific on the oiler ?Cimarron.? He was discharged in 1946. Ernest worked for 30 years as ?Chief, Editorial Branch? for the Historical Unit, United States Army Medical Department at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland. He retired in 1972. He moved to Fargo in 1997 and lived at the Evergreens until July 2002 when he entered Rosewood on Broadway. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Cecil Dean Elliott.
