Estella Yarbrough

Estella was born on August 14, 1948 in Clarksdale, MS to the late Robert Tribble and Willie Lee Bias Tribble. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter (Chirstina), one sister (Alice), 8 brothers (Robert Jr., James, Michael, Calvin, Nathaniel, George, Willie, Terry) and other relatives.
Estella was united in holy matrimony to Jim H. Yarbrough on December 24, 1973 and to this union, 3 children were born. She had such a big, kind heart and loved helping others which is why she adopted 2 daughters (Jessica and Chirstina).
Estella started her career as a teacher at Immaculate Conception where she worked for six years. She then taught at Broadstreet High School in Shelby, MS for 6 years before accepting a position with the Clarksdale Municipal School District. She was an elementary school teacher at Myrtle Hall #4 until she retired in 2009. Estella loved her students and claimed all she taught as “her kids”.
Estella gained her wings on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Leaving to cherish her memories are: 3 children; Sharon Carr of Fargo, Felicia Yarbrough of Fargo, Gary Yarbrough (Jennifer) of San Antonio,TX, Jessica Johnson of Clarksdale, MS; 2 sisters: Cynthia Tribble of Fargo, ND, Deborah Grainger of Columbus, OH; 3 sister-in-laws: Cora Tribble of Clarksdale, MS, Barbara Tribble of Clarksdale, MS, Ruby Tribble of Clarksdale, MS; 16 grandchildren (Ashley, Ariel, Willie, Devin, Khaliyah, Devontay, Autumn, Tyler, Jordyan, Amber, Kennedie, Treshaun, Treshaunna, Alecha, Alicia, Dantrell Jr.); 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends and all the children she taught.
To Sharon, Felicia, Gary, Ashley and all of the grandchildren, great grandchildren, Cousin Deborah, and the entire Tribble and Yarbrough families,
My sincere condolences to you all. Miss Estella always had a smile and kind words to share. I pray that God will give you peace and that the memories of good times shared comfort you at this time and the days to come.
My Auntie was an beautiful , loving, compassionate and amazing lady! I have so many wonderful memories that I’ll forever cherish! I’m praying for you guys Shell, Nikki, Gary, grandkids, Auntie Deborah and Auntie Cindy.

We loved your mother very much, know that from the bottom of hearts as she treated us like family always! Faith teaches us to believe in the impossible, we believe, your mother and our mother are enjoying each others company once again, sharing stories of all their “kids” and all the many, many, many lives over countless generations they enjoyed loving, helping and most of all teaching!
