Aunt Fern was a wonderful lady and always so proud of her family. I enjoyed her Christmas letters that you probably helped her with, Rita. She always sounded happy and busy with her life in Fargo. Sorry we lost touch with you & John & Billy. I talked to my brother Mike yesterday, he lives in the Minneapolis area, was hoping he could attend the funeral and represent us as we’re in Az for the winter, Sheila lives in CO, but Mike and Michele are in Florida ,where they frequently go in the winter. Thinking about your Mom brings back fond memories of her and your Dad. He always loved to tease us when we were growing up. Your Mother had a good, long life and was truly blessed, as was my Mother Marge who died at age 95,but I still miss her and talk to her every day as I’m sure you will too with with Auntie Fern. We remember when she came to Ivan’s Mom’s funeral in Osnabrock, in a snow storm, and then you,Rita, & your Mom came to my
brother Dan’s in Grand Forks. That meant a lot. Thank you.
Love and Prayers,
