Fred W. Eisenhardt passed away peacefully on July 24, 2005, and is now in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father. He was born on October 28, 1918, the son of August and Martha (Griesbach) Eisenhardt. He grew up in the Grandin, ND area and graduated from Hillsboro High School. Fred married Helen Warner. They farmed and raised a family together in the Grandin-Kelso area. Fred also owned and operated Cass County Implement and Alloway Manufacturing in Fargo, ND. They retired and spent their winters in Mesa, AZ. Fred is survived by his four children, Pepper (Karen) Eisenhardt of Fargo; Tim Eisenhardt of Kelso; Gale (Allan) Peterson of Dallas, TX; Lise (Brian) Waller of Wayzata, MN; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, parents, three brothers, two sisters, and his grand daughter. Fred especially loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf. Cooking and entertaining his friends and family also brought him great enjoyment. His love and zest for life will be missed by all who knew him. A special thanks to everyone who cared for him at Hospice of the RRV, and the Hillsboro Hospital.
