Gary Borkenhagen

January 1, 1970 ~ May 23, 2010
Gary L. Borkenhagen, 60, West Fargo passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 after a long battle with cancer.
Gary was born October 15, 1949 in Waseca, MN to Richard and Vernita (Lowe) Borkenhagen. Gary attended school in Fargo before graduating from Fargo North High School. After high school, Gary graduated from college at NDSCS.
On July 31, 1970 Gary married Linda (Olson) Borkenhagen in St. Mary's Cathedral, Fargo. After a short time, Gary was drafted into the Army, serving in Fort Riley, KS. Gary was most recently employed at Ferguson Enterprise, Fargo.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Linda, West Fargo, ND; children; Cory, Moorhead, MN, Amy (Brady) Seavert, Albany, NY, Jill (Josh) Nelson, Fargo, ND, grandchildren; Addison, Rylee, Caden, mother; Vernita, Fountain Hills, AZ, siblings; Brad (Kay) Borkenhagen, Bloomington, MN, Richard (Barb) Borkenhagen, Thornton, CO, Cathi Borkenhagen, Honolulu, HI, Stacey Borkenhagen, Scottsdale, AZ, and many nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Richard Borkenhagen.

My thoughts are with Gary’s family as you go through these tough times.
I met Bork about 25 to 30 years ago in the old KC’s club at a steel dart
tournament and we hit it off poking fun at each other and enjoying the competition right from the start. Many good times at the KC’s and other tourney’s there after.
