Gary John Fossen, age 68, a resident of Horace, ND, died on September 28, 2024, at his home surrounded by family and assisted by Hospice.

Gary was born January 13, 1956, in Maddock, ND, to Bennie and Rose (Schall) Fossen. He was raised in Maddock, ND, and attended school there.

Gary will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Gary’s absence will be profoundly missed.

In 1992 Gary met the love of his life, Michelle, and they later married on June 4, 1997. Together they enjoyed many hobbies including camping, golfing, riding motorcycles, and spending time with their dogs, Scout and Molly.

In addition to his wife, Michelle and their dogs, Scout and Molly, surviving relatives include his sisters, Donna (Russell), Sharon, and Judy (Mark); brothers Gerald, Ronnie (Cindy), and Lanny (Susan); and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Sr.; mother, Rose; brother, Bennie Jr.; and brother-in-law, George.
