Gary Knutson, 72, Fargo, ND, passed away on December 28, 2021 at Bethany Retirement Living under the care of hospice. Gary was born on October 27, 1949 in Binford, ND. Gary was a marine and proudly served his country in Vietnam. He worked as a construction superintendent and in his free time he enjoyed golfing, cooking, grilling, music, and cheating at board games. He especially preferred anything trivia. Gary is survived by his children Eugene (Christina) Knutson, of Washington; Dondi (Thomas) Sandland, of Montana; Tyrone (Delinda) Knutson, of North Dakota; and Aaron (Kristina) Knutson, of North Dakota; his siblings, Doug, Keith (Robin), Ethel, and Rod (Evelyn); as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Linda, whom he can now be with eternally; his daughter Lois; his parents, his brother Randy (Bonnie) Knutson, and his sister-in-law Linda.

  1. I enjoyed our many conversations over the years at the Loaf while Linda was working. Your love for one another was unbreakable. I am honored to say that you never complained when I called you Fred like Linda would! Rest in peace my friend!
