  27. Michelle and Joe, I extend my deepest sympathy on the loss of your son, Geoff. It was heart-breaking to read of his passing, especially at such a young age. I worked at Lincoln Elementary School for 19 years as a special education para, and Geoff was in the 3rd grade classroom I helped in. I remember him playing the part of Old King Cole in a play the class was putting on. He acted out such a good job! A natural! There were a few students over the years who stuck out to me, and Geoff was one of them. He was very personable, happy-go-lucky, and kind to others. I thought to myself, that little young man with the dimples and huge smile is going to make a difference in people’s lives some day! And he surely did! I also remember how proud he was the day his dad came to school to show and tell about all the beautiful stones and gems from the jewelry store!
Those warm memories will always remain with me. God bless Geoffrey’s memory. May you both find strength in HIM.
