Georgia L. Snyder, 83, Fargo passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo.
Georgia was born July 28, 1938 in Aberdeen, SD to George and Marie (Abraham) May. She grew up in Aberdeen, SD before graduating from St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She worked professionally as a Registered Nurse at several nursing homes and Prairie St. John’s. She married Jim “Percy” Snyder in 1960 and they made their home in Webster, SD before moving to Fargo.
She enjoyed the challenge associated with her nursing career. She also enjoyed having her family around her where she could make memories and laugh. Her children and grandchildren were very important to her and she made it a point to stay active in their lives.
She is survived by her children, Jim, Moorhead, MN, Jane St. John, Casselton, ND, John (Molly) Snyder, Moorhead, MN; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (Dennis) Seiler, Aberdeen, SD.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim “Percy” who passed in 2019, son, Jeff who passed away in 2013, daughter-in-law, Jane N. Snyder who passed way in 2015 and brother, Jim May.
Memorial Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo.
Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
