Funeral Mass:
Gerald “Jerry” Bruce Grover, age 80, of West Fargo, North Dakota, departed this life on January 16, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center in downtown Fargo, surrounded by his family.
Jerry was born on April 20, 1945, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Clifford and Ann (Wadnizak) Grover. He graduated from Shanley High School in 1963, before dedicating three years of his life to serve his country in the United States Army from March 1964 to February 1967, during which he was stationed in Munich and Frankfurt, Germany.
On June 14, 1980, Jerry married the love of his life, Rosalynn Anderson, and together they created a loving home in West Fargo, where they grew their family welcoming twins, Amy and Austin.
Jerry’s professional journey encompassed a distinguished career in the plumbing and heating supply industry. Over the years, he lent his talents to various esteemed companies, including Adams, DC Sales (where he dedicated over 30 years), and Johnstone Supply, before retiring in 2016.
A devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fargo, Jerry found deep comfort and fellowship within his faith community. He was known for his passions outside of work, particularly his love for gardening, which was most evident in his eagerness to cultivate his cherished cherry tomatoes. An avid tinkerer, he delighted in spending time in his workshop and maintaining the beauty of his yard.
Jerry is survived by his wife Rosalynn Grover (Anderson), West Fargo, ND; twin children Amy Grover, West Fargo, ND, and Austin Grover, West Fargo, ND; brothers, John (Carrie) Grover, Fargo, ND, and Bob (Brother John) Grover, Winona, MN; sister and brother in law Cheryl and Robert “Deke” Diegal, Fargo, ND; sister in law Sherry Anderson and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Ann; stepfather, Arthur “Art” Dockter; brother, Gene; and brother in law Art G. Anderson.
In lieu of flowers please plant a cherry tomato plant and be kind to one another. A special thank you also goes out to all of the nurses at Sanford that helped Jerry during his last few days, you are all truly amazing people.

Jerry was my next door neighbor for 17 years. Great neighbor and father to his Twins Amy and Austin
RIP my friend
I worked with Jerry many years in the wholesale plumbing and heating supply business, he knew his products are customers very well. Great person RIP
His life remains in the flowers and vegetables planted in the yard, the stones along the walkway and in the garden of our hearts.
I worked with Jerry at Johnstone Supply, where he landed after DC Sales closed.
Jerry had a big heart and would help anyone anyway he could. He went out of his way to be helpful and will be missed by all who knew him. Prayers for the family.
May his memory live on in your hearts.
