Geraldine "Geri" Wooledge Farrell

Geraldine Wooledge Farrell passed away on October 27, 2023 at Eventide in Moorhead.

Geri was born in LaMoure, North Dakota on September 20, 1926. Her parents were Al and Corrine Kale. She was the younger sister to Bernyce. Geri graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1944. She went on to Dakota Business College and upon graduation was employed by Crary Insurance Company. She married John Wooledge in 1947 and resided in south Fargo. Geri was a devoted homemaker. She volunteered for Cub Scouts and BlueBirds. She loved dancing, playing cards, and was a lifetime member of the Elks Club belonging to the Eagles Auxiliary. Geri moved to Moorhead, Minnesota in 1974 upon marrying Bart Farrell.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and husbands, John Wooledge and Bart Farrell, and son, Tom Wooledge. She is survived by daughters, Kathy (Bob) Hill, and Sharon Wooledge Mastel, son, Jim Wooledge, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Geri’s family would like to thank the staff of Eventide Nursing Home for providing excellent care, love, and understanding for the past several years. Geri loved cats. Donations can be made to Cat’s Cradle Shelter in Fargo, 9 9th Street South.
