Gladys M. Colwell, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at the Elim Care Center in Fargo, at the age of 89.
Gladys Olson was born on August 30, 1915, the daughter of Albert and Mina (Knutson) Olson, in Mohall, ND. She grew up in Mohall and graduated from Mohall High School. Gladys was united in marriage to Llewellyn Colwell in 1936. After their marriage they made their home in Mohall prior to moving to Fargo in 1941.
Gladys is survived by her children, Jerry (Cheryl) Colwell, Kay (Keith) Rosengren, and Mary (Quentin) Erickson; three grandchildren, one step grandchild; and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Vivian (George) Eltz and Phyllis McGovern.
VISITATION: 5-7 PM Monday at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo

Our family were Gladys’s next door neighbor when we lived at the 1500 block 11th Avenue South, Fargo in the 1940s to 1950s. Sorry to hear about Gladys’s passing. May God bless you all. My wife and I live in Tulsa, OK and are retired.
