Gladys Williams Gladys Forsness Williams, age 93, Fargo, ND died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Bethany Homes in Fargo. Gladys Forsness was born March 5, 1913 in Greenbush, MN to Edward and Helga (Berge) Forsness. She grew up on the family farm as the youngest of six children. Gladys graduated early from secondary school in Greenbush and then attended Moorhead State Teacher?s College to study nursing. While attending college, she met James F. Williams. They married on December 11, 1932. He died in 1979. Gladys lived God?s gift of life to the fullest. She was a devoted wife and mother to her 10 children. She found pleasure in maintaining her flower garden while enjoying the beauty in all of nature. She was gifted in sewing, crocheting, and needlework. Her greatest joy was her family. Her loving spirit lives on in her children. Sons: Gregory (Denise) Williams, Michael (Susan) Williams, both of Fargo, ND; daughters: Jean (Jim) Wold, Kathleen (Bud) McCroskey, Joan (Larry) Schuh, all of Fargo, ND, Peggy (Doug) Antonelli, Raleigh, NC, Jane (Larry) LaMont, Lakeville, MN, Deborah (Rob) Hinderliter, Franklin, TN, Laura (Paul) Jaffe, Memphis, TN; daughter-in-law: Jane Evans Williams, Fayetteville, AR; and her 26 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Williams; her son, James F. (Jimmy) Williams; her parents; one brother; and four sisters. A rosary will be said at 9:00 am on Friday, November 24, 2006 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 24, 2006 at the Mavis Whiting Chapel at Bethany Homes of Fargo, ND with the Rev. Phil Larson officiating. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery North, Fargo, ND following the service. Memorials are preferred to Bethany Homes or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
