Grady Garletz

grady garletz

Grady had kindness in his character. His spirit was healing and guiding. There is not much that could change the energy of a room quite like his presence. His voice. His laugh. All beautiful things that will have to only be remembered now. Grady McGinn Garletz passed in his sleep the morning of January 19th 2023. Although he is no longer with us, we would like to believe that his soul is traveling peacefully with his brother Nathan and all those we have lost before him.

Grady was born March 22nd 1985 in Fargo, ND to parents Earl Garletz and Julie Garletz (Skyberg). His surviving siblings are Torey and Brinn Garletz. His niece Autumn was his joy. Grady’s family encourages all those whose life has been touched by him to please hug the ones you love warmly and to remember him as dearly as we do.

Guestbook

  1. Earl, Sorry to read of the passing of your son.
Sympathy to you & the rest of the family.
    Former neighbors of you.

  2. I met Grady online. He was always upbeat and brought laughs to the group whenever we were playing together. He was a good guy. Never met anyone else like him. My condolences to the family.

  3. I don’t even know how to put the loss of Grady into words, we had decided we needed to get together and have a cocktail in memory of Jim. Dammit Grady we didn’t get together for one last hug. I am thankful we talked that last time so I could let you know how lucky Jim & I were blessed to have you in our lives…..and, that I love you.

  4. Julie, Earl, Torey and Brinn,
We are so sad to hear of the passing of Grady. We will always treasure our memories of the old neighborhood. Thinking of you.
    Mark, Tammy and family
