Grant E. Anderson, 73, Fargo, died April 4, 2011 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Grant was born June 13, 1937 in Fargo to Ernest and Erma Anderson. When he was a young boy his family moved to Enderlin, ND. At the age of 12 his family returned to Fargo where he attended Fargo public school. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1954 where he was stationed in England. On June 15, 1955 he married Celia Sorby in Moorhead. After his honorable discharge he returned to Fargo where he began working at the US Postal Service as a clerk. He later worked as a mail carrier retiring in 1992.
He enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Celia; daughter, Vicki (Dean) Johansen; grandsons, Blake and Erik Johansen; and 2 great grandsons.

Hi Girlie –
I am so sorry to read of Grant’s death. He was much too young for that and you are much too young to go through it. I’m very sorry that I cannot be at the funeral but I am battling cancer that started in December. Currently I’m in chemo treatment which is tough. It causes extreme pain in the first week after treatment along with great tiredness. That is the week I am in now. Otherwise I feel fine and am respondingto treatment, so do not worry about me. Sorry little girl, I wish I could be there to to comfort you. My deepest sympathy to you and the kids.
