Gustaf Anderson

Gustaf (Gus) Anderson, age 90, Fargo, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2004, in Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo. Gustaf (Gus) Anderson was born to Nels and Anna Anderson on July 15, 1914, at Page, ND. Gus grew up and attended school in Page. He graduated from Page High School in 1932, and then from Hanson Mechanical Trade School in Fargo. He worked at Cochran Equipment until it was sold and became Mars Equipment. Gus worked at Mars Equipment until purchasing it in 1954. He owned and managed Anderson Equipment in Page until selling it in 1972. Gustaf married Agnes Anderson in February of 1943. They moved to Fargo in 1972 and have lived here since. He is survived by his wife, Agnes of Fargo; nephews and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, John, and an older brother, Clarence. Funeral: 9 a.m. Saturday in Church of the Nativity, Fargo. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, and one hour prior to services on Saturday in the church.
