Stockton CaI forgot to mention the most important person, his loving wife Jan, so sorry.
Stockton CaFirst of all, my heart felt condolences to Theodore, Steve & Susan.
I didn’t realize until later on in life, when I tried to run my own business what an amazing man your father Hans was. He had the courage to open an appliance store all on his own, and he did whatever it took to provide for his family, to me that defines what a real man is, and that was your dad. So proud of his children and when Ted became an outstanding wrestler you could light up the block with the smile on his face. When things didn’t work out business wise he re-invented himself. Always positive, I learned a lot from his example later on in life simply by remembering what would Hans do in this situation, the answer was he would always *cowboy up* Thanks Hans GOD BLESS YOU. And yes Vicky Nelson is right there is a bond between all 16 ½ st Fargo people, we all love each other and I am proud of that.

I’ve been blessed to have such a special God Father who, although we didn’t get to see each other often (due to distance) was always waiting to give me a hug when we could be together. He was never afraid to be silly and was an expert at making those around him feel valued. Hugs and love to my wonderful Aunt Jan and cousins.

Hans has been a friend for many years. My husband Mark was a member at Nativity and I believe they worked many church dinners together.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,

Our wonderful Brother-in-Law was always ready to help everyone by generously sharing his time and knowledge with any projects that needed to be done. He wasn’t afraid to take on something new, and always got the job done well. His hobbies wholly consisted of helping others, and he found great joy in doing so.
He easily and often exhibited that marvelous smile of his, and he had a tremendously fun nature, which bordered on mischievous sometimes.
Han’s beautiful spirit will always live on and be a part of our hearts. We are very grateful to have had his loving presence in our lives. We’re blessed with so many fun memories that we shared.

We are saddened for your loss…Hans was truly a wonderful man with a fun and gentle spirit…..our lives have been enriched since that day we met Hans and Jan in Vegas on the way to Cabo! I will never forget him putting up his two hands so we would always remember how to pronounce his name! And he was definitely the “gamemaster” at our games in Texas..his smile remains forever. We’ve had so much fun over the years with the two of you…….Jane and John
