Harry Roman

Harry W. Roman Moorhead, Minnesota Harry passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo. Harry was born on October 3, 1922, the son of Matt and Mary (Holmes) Roman in Lawton, ND. He grew up in this area and received his education. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Army 10th Mountain Division from December of 1942 until his discharge in May of 1946. Harry was united in marriage to Lillian Nergaard on May 17, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead. Following their marriage they made their home in Moorhead where they raised their family. Harry worked for Akin?s Electric, Gamble Robinson, and for Fargo Foundry. Harry is survived by his wife, Lillian of Moorhead; his children, Bob (Laurel) Roman of Fargo; Diane Roman, Susan Roman, Mary Roman, Jim Roman, all of Moorhead; and Laura (Don) Loomis of Fargo. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Justin, Eric, Iana, Angela, and Sheila Loomis, Andrea Murphy, Todd Roman, and Rachel Wiger; 4 great grandchildren, Nicole, Jamie, Alice, and Michael; and his sister Elsie Atwood of Quanah, TX. His parents and 3 sisters preceded him in death.
