I have a lot of fond memories of Hazel growing up since both families moved ( one next door and one across the street) and still lived within 2 houses of each other. As a kid I remember Bill,Hazel, Bart, Shirley, Glen, Eleanor and Corky having barbecues and all of us kids running around the neighborhood. Hazel was always so friendly and genuine whenever I would run into her in Hillsboro.
God bless Jim and Bill and hold on to the memories.
Hazel used to be my mother’s childhood playmate (Dorothy Holkesvig Heskin). I think even without that connection I would still have been drawn to Hazel. She was so cozy and smiley. I will sure miss visiting with her at LMH.
Ian proud of my cousin Hazel. I would tell people that she was the recorder of deeds for Trail county. Her dad Roy and my dad Ingolf are brothers. Rest in peace cousin Hazel.
