Henry George Pronovost was born on August 15, 1920 in Fargo, ND, to Joseph and Anna (Rheault) Pronovost. He grew up in Horace, ND, where he was baptized and confirmed at St. Benedicts Catholic Church. He attended school at St. Joseph's Academy at St. Benedicts. He joined the US Army in 1942 and served during World War II. He worked for farmers in Durbin and Comstock after returning. He went to Williston for a time before returning to Fargo and working for Steiger Tractors where he worked until his retirement. He made his home in Horace until moving to Villa Maria where he lived until his death.

He is survived by brother: Julian (Margaret) Pronovost of Horace; sister: Marie Fosteson of Las Vegas, NV; Many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Cecile, brother: Wilfred Pronovost; sisters: Aldea Tessier, Lucy Fugere, Lorraine Lykken, Jean Trottier, Margaret Ramsett, Ida Greiger, longtime companion Loretta Sauvageau.

    Sorry to here of Uncle Henry’s Passing. I have many memories of him on the farm with Grandma and Grandpa.
    My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

  2. Federal Way WaI have so many good memories of Uncle Henry when I was growing up and staying over the summer with grandpa and grandma and he had just got back from the service.
