Irene Schumaker

Irene Schumaker, age 70, Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, December 22, 2004 in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Irene Moser was born May 6, 1934 in Medina, ND to Paul and Sophie (Roth) Moser. She grew up on a farm north of Medina and graduated from high school in Medina. Irene married Ervin Schumaker on June 10, 1953. They moved to Fargo after their marriage. She managed Tree Lanes Trailer Court, and worked for the Fargo Eagles Club, retiring in 1999. The couple spent their winters in Mesa, AZ for a number of years. Ervin died in June 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Shawn (Daniel) Duval, Hutchinson, MN, and Sherri Amundson, Lone Tree, IA; grandchildren, Dustin (Tracy) Duval, Lindsey Duval, Brielle Amundson and Brock Amundson; her sister, Florence (Harry) Kauk, Houston, TX and a brother, Raymond Moser. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister, Evangeline Broddus.
