Jacoby Blake, 13, Moorhead, Minn., died Tuesday, Oct. 19, in Sanford Medical Center. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., followed by a funeral at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home’s website. A candlelight vigil is being held at Horizon Middle School, hosted by the students for Jacoby Blake at 6:30 PM, Friday, October 29th, 2021. We will be meeting at the East Entrance. We ask all who attend to bring candles, posters, or anything that reminds them of Jacoby. We would like to welcome everyone to the celebration of life for our son Jacoby Joseph Blake. From the time Coby was born in Fargo, North Dakota he was a very enthusiastic and exciting child. Growing up Coby had a lot of friends. He was very enthusiastic and athletic. He played a lot of sports; basketball was his favorite but he also played football and enjoyed fishing. Jacoby was an expert swimmer; he had planned to be a lifeguard next summer. Jacoby was also fun to be around. He liked to joke with people and do practical jokes with them. He also enjoyed visiting people- especially his nana Nancy Blake. He would go over and walk her dog and do other chores for her. We're all going to love Coby and miss him, but please let's celebrate his life and that his spirit live on and on. He is in a better place now and we all must understand that God has Coby now and God will take care of him like God takes care of us. Let's all remember that the 13 years that Coby lived were great and may we love each other the way that Jacoby loved his friends and family. He was such a great kid and ask God to take good care of him while he's in heaven. He leaves behind his twin brother Jalen Patrick Blake, his mother and father Rebecca Lynn Blake and Mark David Jones. Bless us in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

  10. I know it’s been months but I just want to let it be known, I didn’t know Jacoby personally. But I sat next to him in English class first quarter, the day before this tragedy happened I will never forget, he made the whole class laugh, he had hid in a cupboard for almost 20 minutes, he fell asleep in there and fell out of the cupboard, he gave a genuinely happy great memory for us to remember him by, he’ll always be in our hearts 💕 fly high Jacoby Blake 🕊
