James Alan Bachman, 41, Fargo, ND, passed away on September 17, 2014. James, son of Roger and Janell (Grenz) Bachman was born alongside his twin brother, Timothy, October 7, 1972 in Fargo, N.D.  He attended West Fargo High School and Graduated Class of 1991. He attended NDSU for 1 Year.

He went on to spend most of his career working at the Floor To Ceiling Store as an independent contractor, specializing in custom kitchens.  James was a skilled craftsman who left his mark on many homes in the region.

He was an avid sports fan with a passion for golfing. He especially enjoyed playing in the Roger Maris Golf Tournament. James played league softball for many years, as well as legion baseball for West Fargo.  James competitively raced Superbikes at the Brainerd International Raceway for 3 years.  He also loved music and enjoyed going to live concerts.

But most of all he enjoyed spending weekends at the Lake and all of his time with his family and friends, especially his brother and the love of his life, his daughter, Jadyn.

James is survived by his daughter, Jadyn Elizabeth Bachman, Fargo, ND; his brother, Tim (Brenda) Bachman, Detroit Lakes, MN; parents, Roger and Janell Bachman, Little McDonald Lake, MN; nieces, Nikki Stotesbery, Sioux Falls, SD, and Ashley (Brett) Vondal, Snohomish, WA; grandmother, Violet Bachman, Streeter, ND; grandmother, Florence Grenz, Napoleon, ND; and many aunts, uncles & cousins who loved him dearly. James was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Bachman, and grandfather, Marvin Grenz.

    I met Jim for the first time at a funeral of a relative, at the same time I met his shy little daughter, Jadyn. He left a good impression on me, I’m so sorry about his death, I know Jadyn was close to her father, she will be loved by all the relatives but we cannot replace her father’s love.   7. I knew jim mostly through some friends but over that time I played softball with him and got to know him. He was a good guy and will be missed
