.Eloda and family, I worked at Kayes Printing in the Mailing Dept. from 1974-1996. I really liked Jim, he was a great guy with a great sense of humor! Early in the morning I would go into the back shop, and not always see where he was working, so I’d yell out ” Yimmmmmy”, and I’d hear a yell some where, “YAAAAAH” !
Everyone loved Jim! Enjoyed his numerous FISHING stories also!
    Great memories!
I want to express my sincerest sympathies to all of the family. Rest well my old friend Jim, and catch a heavenly walleye for me !
    Sincerely,
    Jeff Weitzel

  9. Bismarck ND
Faye just let us know about Jim. We are so sorry to hear this news. Eloda, you and Jim were the best neighbors! I still remember sitting on your steps talking, the kids (especially Scott) following Jim as he worked in the yard, your delicious peanut butter cookies, and Bim shoveling our sidewalk late one night after we had just moved in. You and your family were so good to us while we lived on 11th street. We all have such fond memories of those days. Know our thoughts and prayers are with you! Cindy & Tom

  10. FLORENCE MTUncle Jimmy, wonderful, witty, and willing to help any poor soul who asked. What a great inspiration to us all. Jim’s love and dedication to Eloda and family will continue to guide me in my relationships. Jimmy was my Mother Patty’s favorite big brother. Now the two of them will be united and continue to do God’s work. We pray for strength for all of the Altringer clan, that we may continue to bring Joy and Happiness to others the way Jimmy did.
    Blessings from Montana.
