Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Sending peaceful vibes to James’s family. He was a valuable member of the MSUM Library staff, doing his tasks and caring for all of us. Time spent with James was always rewarding.

  2. My sympathies to Jim’s family. Often enjoyed conversation with Jim in my Owens Hall office as he was making his rounds. I will have a bowl of black jelly beans on my desk in memory of Jim!

  3. My sincere condolences to Jim’s family. I recall many mornings when Jim would come into Flora Frick Hall to chat with me and Lorraine Swalstad. He always had a calm and peaceful demeanor. A solid man with a good heart.

  4. Jim was a gem.
Saw him everyday as he went about doing his job efficiently and a smile. A number of years ago I was set to go on a 6 month leave. One of the things I had on my desk was a red coca cola glass. Right before my leave, I came in and found 5 more glasses on my desk. Jim said he thought I should have a set.
What a guy. Blessings to his family.
