Uncle James,
The love and memories I have of you are endless. This is due to the many roles you played in my life. Sunday morning I got up early, knowing that this was the day you and Aunt Pam called home. I’m sure these calls where ment for your Mom and Dad. But being 3yrs old I just knew I was the important one. The trips you and your family made back to Hobbs, excited me aswell.,For me it was a chance to get to see Jennifer,Bryan, Aunt Pam. You always seem to find away to tell me stories about the games you and my Mom played as children growing up. I never knew Educational games and books could be fun, until you and Aunt Pam arrived with them. Uncle James, you made a special trip to Hobbs, July of 1993 just for me. You where the Father( figure) who gave me away on my wedding day. I will carry a special place in my heart for you. Love you Pamela

Pam, I’m so sorry for your loss, James was a great guy, I will truly miss our conversations about politics, religion, work and our families. He was a true friend.
My name is Chad from Phoenix AZ. After not getting any responses to my calls I did some investigation online and found James’ obituary. So sorry to hear about his death.
I run the flea market where James would sell his “treasures”. Among the hundreds of vendors I have, he found his own niche with the merchandise he offered. I always knew when James showed up, the weather would be dry that day. His stuff was too valuable and he couldn’t take the chance of it getting wet.
We were kindred spirit, politically, and we would chat in those early morning hours after he arrived at the market. Hate to lose any of those fighting for our side.
His boutique cabin is as he left it on Labor Day Weekend. Would you like to see what James’s left behind that you or your family may want for posterity or, for that matter, to sell?
You can reach me at 602-809-6661
Offering many condolences for your family.

I knew James from antique/flea market shows in Grand Forks. We were both book dealers who often talked and shared a common interest. I consigned some books and comics to James to sell in Detroit Lakes at Shady Hollow. I also visited him at his Dilworth office on Main Street. The last time we talked he said he was in the hospital and apologized for not being able to meet. I often visit my Mother in Fargo. I heard from Chad at Shady Hollow that James passed in October. I am very sorry to hear this. If I can do anything for the family please let me know.. Barry Branvold – Grand Forks 7016101323
