Guestbook

  1. I met Janice at Sons of Norway
I really think Kringen 4-025 was her second home!
She was a Volunteer for Tuesday
And Friday for many years! At Kringen Klub
    Restaurant!
Also volunteering when needed other times too! She held several offices in the lodge
Special one was Sunshine Lady she would send out sympathy and get well cards!
She also was in charge of the Annual Kringen Lodge Memorial Service. She was delegate to several District and International Sons of Norway Conventions.
    Loved going to Perkins!
Janice was a friend to many people
    She will be missed!
    She fought the fight!
May memories give her family peace and comfort.

  2. Rhonda, Jodi & family, Your Mother was such a wonderful and kind person. I especially enjoyed our “coffee time” talks in Hendrum. Sorry we cannot make the service. I’m in Colorado recovering from knee surgery and Wayne won’t be back until Saturday. Hugs to all. Love, Kari

  3. May God surround you with his peace and strength as you grieve your loss. Janice and I served on the Nordic Culture Clubs Board in planning the Scandinavian Hjemkomst Festival. For many years, she did a great job coordinating volunteers. She was such a gentle and kind person. She will be missed.

  4. I’m sorry to hear of Janice. She was one of my cousins. She was older but we always visited with family when we could. Didn’t know she lived in West Fargo. How time flies.Hugs to the family. Sharon.

  5. Dear family of Janice,
Always happy and with a smile on her face. That’s how I will remember your mom. Being in the Hendrum my whole life meant seeing people all the time. Janice always took the time to stop and visit. It was always fun to see her at the Son’s of Norway too. She will be missed. It was our intension to be at the service tonight but we just got back from Colorado and came home with a flu bug. We were so glad her service was online as we just watched it. May you look to Jesus for the peace and comfort you need. Take care.

  6. To Janice’s Family,

I was so sorry to read of her passing in the Hillsboro Banner today. And so appreciated watching the video of her service. My thoughts and prayers are with each one of the family. She was a very special woman/mother. May the Peace of the Lord be always with each of you

I knew Janice at Hillsboro High School my Senior year and her Junior year. She became a special part of my life as boy friend and girl friend. In 1981 at an all school reunion and Hillsboro town celebration i met Janice and Ronnie at HS gym for a special program. Wonderful chat catching up on our lives.

  7. Mildred, Rhonda, Jodi,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss…also our loss. Your parents were the host and hostess at our wedding! The one thing I had planned long ago as they both were so great to visit with people and include everyone. They lit up the room wherever they were. Family friends that go way back. Your mom and my dad were both the only children in their families, so they referred to each other as brother and sister. Ken and I are blessed to have known them both. God’s peace to your families. Love, Kay Martinson Elvehjem
