Jared Martin Fisher, age 39, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota, surrounded by his loving family. His life was far too short, but the love he gave and the memories he leaves behind will last a lifetime.

Jared was born on March 15, 1987, in Fargo to Martin and Dianne Fisher. He grew up in Fargo, graduated from Fargo South High School, and earned his degree from North Dakota State University in 2009.

On September 21, 2019, Jared married Andrea Philpot at Hope Lutheran Church in Fargo, who he fiercely adored and referred to her as his Queen. Together, they built their home in Fargo and welcomed their son, Wyatt, who became Jared’s greatest pride and joy.

Jared was loyal, dependable, and fiercely devoted to the people he loved. He may not have let everyone into his inner circle, but those who were part of it knew they could always count on him. He liked things a certain way and took pride in the details, but behind his particular, serious side was a fun, silly personality that brought laughter to those closest to him.

Jared loved hunting and was a devoted Detroit Red Wings fan. Cheering on the Red Wings in matching family jerseys became a treasured tradition, creating memories that his family will carry with them for years to come.

Above all, Jared loved being Wyatt’s dad. He always had a picture to share, a story to tell, or something new to brag about. He was endlessly proud of his boy, and it was clear to everyone who knew him that Wyatt was his world. Being his father was Jared’s greatest joy.

Since July, Jared had been in and out of the hospital, facing challenges and giving his family moments of hope along the way. His sudden passing has left a heartbreaking loss and a future filled with moments they wish they could still share with him. At just 39, there were more hunting trips to take, more Red Wings games to watch, and so many more family memories to make.

Jared will be remembered for his loyalty, his particular ways, his unexpected silliness, and the deep love he had for his family. Though he is gone far too soon, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, the family traditions continued, and the countless little reminders of him along the way.

Jared is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Fisher, and their beloved son, Wyatt; his parents, Martin and Dianne Fisher; his brother, Nathan (Joanna) Fisher; his nephew and niece, Howard and Hilda; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.

A private family service will be held, followed by a Celebration of Life at a later date.
