Jeannette Klinkhammer

Jeannette Ann Klinkhammer (Schutz) age 88 passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 1st, 2024 at Serenity Assisted Living, Dilworth MN.

She was born and raised in Fargo, ND, to Joseph Schutz and Bertha (Donner) Schutz. She married Charles Nicholas Klinkhammer in 1954 and shortly thereafter started their large family of 10 children. Jeannette was a talented and self-sufficient woman earning a living by running a day care for many years. Her many talents included sewing, ceramics, needle point, and knitting. She hand-made everything for her children. Her proudest legacy is her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister and her beloved grandson Alexander Brent Klinkhammer.

She is survived by her sister Mary Janice Platt, her 10 children: Theresa (Francis) Hagen, Charles (Sandra) Klinkhammer, Jeffery Klinkhammer, Jeannell (Paul) Wyntergreen, Gregory (Diane) Klinkhammer, David (Janet) Klinkhammer, Kimberly (Bryan) Weatherford, John (Amy) Klinkhammer, Carolyn Klinkhammer, and Cheri (Bill) Bjerken, 29 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She will be missed by all.

The family wishes to thank the extraordinary staff at Serenity Assisted Living for their devotion and loving care over the years. We are very grateful also for the many friendships made by mother at Serenity.
