May 26, 1944 ~ May 10, 2026
JoAnn passed away on Mother’s Day, May 10, 2026. She was born May 26, 1944 to Dominic and Gertrude(Midas) Templin in St. Cloud, MN. JoAnn attended Cathedral High school in St. Cloud, MN.
In 1972, JoAnn married Linus Katzner of Albany, MN. Together they made their home in St. Francis, MN and raised three amazing daughters.
JoAnn loved cooking more than anything. She was a cook for many years in St. Francis MN. After she retired, she continued her love of cooking by making meals for neighbors and friends. She loved to play BINGO and enjoyed taking ‘the bus’ to the Casino.
JoAnn is survived by her 3 daughters, Tracy (Mike) Korton of Brooklyn Park, MN, Tanya (Mike) Grieger of Fargo, ND and Tamara (Jed) Folkens of Jordan, MN; Sisters Susie (John) Olson, Patty Woeste, Geraldine “Gerry” Hall, Pauline “Polly” Zenner, five grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominic and Gertrude Templin, Sister Theresa Stang, and Brothers Marvin Templin, Roger Templin and Virgil Templin.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in St. Cloud, MN for family.

I’m not sure where the nickname, Auntie Eunice” ever came into play, however, it stuck thru the years. She laughed so hard when we referred to her as that.
