John Cegla

John entered into this worldly life on March 20, 1948 in Jamestown, ND. He entered into eternal life on June 9, 2009 in Fargo, ND. He was the son of John J. and Arlene (Thimmesch) Cegla. He moved to Cummings, ND in 1954 and then to Fargo, ND in 1966 where he attended Fargo South High School. He worked at the Fargo Theatre and Minnkota Recycling. He enjoyed walking and bicycling in his earlier years. He loved playing all games, but especially the dice game “10,000”. His passion was professional wrestling. John was a special person who, despite what life threw at him, bore everything with grace, perseverance, forgiveness, and without complaint. His acceptance of life and positive outlook has been an inspiration to all of us. John is survived by his mother, Arlene Cegla, Fargo, ND; sister, Mary (Mark) Thompson, Brookings, SD; and niece, Victoria Adkins, Brookings, SD. The Funeral will be held on 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2009 at Bethany Homes, Mavis Whiting Chapel, Fargo, ND. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial, Fargo, ND.
