John Fischer

John Leslie Fisher, 53, Page, ND, died Friday, February 26, 2010 in his home. John was born August 10, 1956 in Fargo, ND. He was adopted as a baby by Darrell and Joan Fisher. He attended and graduated from Hope High School in 1975. He lived with his parents on the family farm north-east of Colgate, ND. His father, Darrell passed away in 1985 and his mother, Joan in 1991. John continued to live on the farm until the summer of 2008; then he moved into an apartment in Page, ND. John thoroughly enjoyed his new home in Page! When he was there, he had the opportunity to become reacquainted with old friends and made new friends from Page! John is survived by his aunts, Velda (Fisher) Vadni, Fargo, ND; Doreen (Belasco) Geoffrion, Montreal, QC, Canada; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Service: Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 10:30 AM at Colgate Presbyterian Church, Colgate, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Hope Cemetery, Hope, ND in the spring.
