John Maki

John William Maki, 69, Fargo, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Elim Care Center Nursing Home under hospice care.

John William Maki was born on November 24, 1942. He grew up in Chicago and Minnesota. He worked for Mobile Oil, Homcrest Patio Furniture, Concordia College, Sears, and Akins Electric. John had a passion for building and repairing things.

John is predeceased by his wife, Cynthia Jo Maki who passed away in July 2002. He is survived by his sons, Paul Maki of Missoula, MT; David Maki of Houston, TX; daughter, Suzanne Maki of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and step-daughter Heather Johnson of Fargo, ND; and a brother, Rudy Maki of Eagan, MN.
