  10. Hi uncle Joey.
I miss you and wish you were here with us. Please say hi to my grandma Sandy.

  11. Joey, I am seeing your smile in my minds eye and remembering how you could light up a room. One of my favorite memories is when you and your friends from the Air Force came to visit us in NYC. I was probably 23, you 21. We had an amazing dinner with my parents at the apartment, heard all about your adventures over pasta and wine, and then we went out with your friends to the bars on Bleecker Street, such good times. Will also treasure memories with all of us together around a campfire as kids. May you Rest In Peace and watch over us all. Gone too soon. Love, Faye

  12. The guy that could light up a room with a smile. The guy that could tell a story as if you were there. Joe, if you only knew the ripple effect of how much you were loved. Like the deserts miss the rain. I will tell stories of you and keep you alive in our hearts. Miss you man😞!!

    UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

  13. Joey! Despite our more distant recent years, bumping into you brought the warmest hugs and catch-up chats. You were the greatest of friends, confidante, drunken texter, and the most gracious host and gentleman. You made time with you feel endless and precious. I will hold the memories with me and never forget how you wanted me to feel, along with many others who I know feel the same. I’m heartbroken that you’re gone.

  14. We met Joey when he first opened his restaurant “Giuseppe’s” in February 2008 and were there every week until he sold his restaurant about five years later. We always looked forward to visiting with Joey and father Vinny each time we were there. We considered Joey to be a true friend. Although we lost touch with him, we thought of him often and wished the best for him. We are greatly saddened by his passing. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joey’s family. Rest in Peace Joey.

  16. My dearest brother in law. You have no idea how much you were loved. Tommy and I spoke about you every day to the kids. Your nephew Vinny has so many of the same traits that you have. I remember taking you to the Philly zoo with your borther when you were 13 years old. What a great time we had. You will always have a special place in my heart. I hope you have found the peace and solace you were looking for. Rip dear Joey . We now have another guardian angel to watch over us. Soar high with the angels.

What a huge loss this earth has endured. Joey would light up any room, he was great with people and a wonderful person. I am very grateful for the time I had with him, rest in heaven Joey, see you on the other side.

  24. My deepest sympathies to Joey’s family, loved ones, and friends. He was such an amazing man.

  25. One of the better people I’ve met, co worker, friend. We lost a good one! Wish I could have spoken to him once more

  26. Joey was just an amazing guy! I always looked forward to catching up with him at US Foods meetings and connected with him even after he left. He was truly a character. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Miranda family!

  27. I’ll never forget Joe’s smile, laugh, and crazy antics that made crazier stories, but here’s a story to show what type of guy he was: We hadn’t spoken for over almost 10 years and I didn’t even know he was back in PA until he reaches out because he heard I was moving and wanted to know where and where he should help. While the rest of us old guys were slowing down at the end of the day, he was just grabbing another box and cracking another joke.

  28. Prayers for comfort and peace to the Miranda family during this very difficult time. Growing up with Joey and his siblings will always be a part of me and my family. Despite the distance and time we are all very heartbroken to hear this news. Sending our love to his parents, sisters and children.
