Resided in: Fargo, North Dakota

Judith “Judy” Treib, 75, Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2024 in her home.

Judith Ann Narlock was born on May 3, 1949 in Moorhead, MN to Archie and Katie (Sullivan) Narlock. Growing up on a farm, Judy learned the values of hard work and dedication; traits that she carried with her throughout her life. Attending St. Francis School in Moorhead and eventually raising two daughters, Judy poured her heart into everything she did. For 25 years, she devoted her time to NPC, where her work ethic and kind spirit made her an integral part of the team. You could also find Judy working for CCRI part-time, a role that proved to be very fulfilling. After retiring in April of 2021, Judy often spent her time at rummage sales with her sister Nancy hunting for little treasures (especially anything Betty Boop or the color red!). She relished eating out with her best friends or her sister Nancy, and spending time with family. An avid reader and a competitive game player, she never shied away from a good round of Yahtzee or Rummikub with her loved ones. (Even if her competitive spirit compelled her to call out cheaters!) She especially loved attending her grandchildren and great-grandson’s events like t-ball, soccer, dance, and volleyball. Judy shared a special bond with her feline companion Izzy, whom she rescued from a parking lot and cherished, even sharing her meals with Izzy right off her plate. Judy will be deeply missed by all those who experienced her kindness and generosity.

Judy is survived by her daughters Kim Byers and Kelly (Kelly) Weigel; grandchildren Katie (Carter) Kusler and Jenni Sauvageau; step-grandchildren Alex, Dusten (Ali), and Julie Weigel; great-grandchildren Maverick Kusler and Phoebe “PJ”; brothers Tom (Sue) Narlock and Steve (Elaine) Narlock; sister Nancy (Joe) Robideau; beloved kitty Izzy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents Archie and Katie Narlock; and her brothers Richard and John Narlock.
