Judy Kerr

Judy Kerr, age 68, of Moorhead, MN died on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Judy was born on July 5, 1939 to Ralph and Mettie (Gardner) Kerr in Milroy, PA. She was a graduate of Boston University School of Theology. She was a deaconess, diaconal minister, and missioner in the United Methodist Church for 41 years. She served in several churches in MA and ND, at Charis Ecumenical Center, Moorhead, MN and Koinonia Ecumenical Spirituality Center, Grand Forks, ND. She married Wally Sizer on July 9, 1977 in Westfield, MA. She loved the outdoors, reading, and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband: Wally Sizer; brother: Skip Kerr (Alejandra) Las Vegas, NV; sisters: Peg Kerr (Bob Stoen) Las Vegas, NV and Jenny Kerr, Miami Beach, FL; 11 nieces and nephews; and many grand nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to First United Methodist Church or Hospice of the Red River Valley. Memorial Service: 3:00 pm on Friday, March 28, 2008 at First United Methodist Church, Fargo, ND with a gathering time one hour prior to the service at the church.
